Major Activities:

1. Capacity development of women members of UBOMUS in operating and maintaining an environment friendly renewable energy (Solar PV) based ice plant
2. Preventing loss of quality of fish during transportation by ensuring availability of adequate amount of ice at minimum price in the project area
3. Ensure timely supply of ice directly to the fishing community at minimum cost, thereby increasing household income.
4. Demonstrate a viable technology for adoption in other off-grid areas for fish preservation
